So this morning 3 of us out on the inters ride. We soon realised we had gone in the wrong direction so a nice big climb up through Bonsal to get us back on track. A lit of people on the roads and not much care for cyclists. Arrived safely at Hassops Thank you to Adrian for breakfast. On return it was very busy at and around Chatsworth. Decided to change route and come back through Beeley, Tansley, Ribber, Rich, Neither Heage I'd home. Great ride. Special shout out to Dave

4 riders had an XC ride based in the classic peaks MTB guide book around Hollymoorside and Linarce resovoir. Next Thursday back on the Belper loop.

Just a reminder that it’s the club’s charity quiz on Saturday 4th July at No28 in support of Blue Box Belper. Only half the tickets have been sold thus far which is a little concerning as all previous quiz events have sold out. Be grateful if you could support this event or pass details on to friends and family who might be interested in coming along. I am just putting the finishing touches to the quiz material and it’s looking good. Thanks

14 riders out tonight in equal groups of fast and not-so-fast on a dry and improving evening. We artfully worked around the closed bridge at Darley Abbey mill, giving a long but rewarding ride. Nothing of note happened - as we like it - and back to The Grapes 🙂Special shout-out to Geordie John for his Ride to the Sun next weekend, it was good being part of your training!

Belper BC rider Bill got 3 silver & 1 bronze Medal at The British Masters Track Championships at Newport Velodrome ( Wales). A medal in each race he rode. How good is that ? So well deserved after all that hard training & getting up at 4 30 am two mornings a week. #belperbc

Great to see a Richard Thoday, a Belper BC rider racing his Penny. This 1/2 hour race on very technical crit circuit in the heart of London at the Nocturne. Ended up 4th in a very strong international field of riders #belperbc

A perfectly formed (3 ladies, 3 men) group of 6 pootled over to Borrowash on route 305 with weather even getting sunny at times! We largely ignored the huge array of cake options in favour of scones and egg on toast. We learned that you need to specify jam with scone and Peter kindly shared his. BBC - the home of generous souls. Then a splinter movement on return route with ladies heading to Holly Bush for MORE refreshments! A very enjoyable ride, thanks everyone 🙂
