Great 6 up ride out to Southwell via the new bridge over the Trent at LadyBay. New cafe ‘Tina’s’ on Colwick industrial estate. Nice ride by Trent up to Southwell GC for a great cafe stop. New trails around Southwell and Hallaughton which were fantastic. Back via Blidworth and Hucknall. Great day out on the bike and worth getting up a couple of hours early 😀

Two groups with either 12, 13 or 14 of us out tonight depending on what part the ride you were on. One rider forgot his helmet and one rider had better offer of a hot tub mid ride. Other than that a lovely social ride apart from the last stretch on the A6 where some riders appeared to have too much excess energy. Then back to The Grapes where Richard joined us after his training ride on the Penny. I’m not around next week as I’m off on yet another cruise so I’ll leave you in

Lovely Sunday Social Ride to Hudson’s. 6 started out at Belper Triangle collecting Peter on the A6 before the gruelling Burley Hill into Quorndon. Lovely to welcome Sally on her first group ride today. Every one was in good spirits enjoying the sunshine with a fresher breeze! Met up with Jane a few miles before our coffee stop and we were all well looked after with refreshments at Hudsons.
