18 riders out in 3 groups on the first of this years Tuesday Winter routes. A lovely mild October evening to take a ride through Shipley Park. Then back to the Dead Poets for refreshments. Same again next week?

12 of us out today to Chase Cafe in Holloway, and I've never seen so many bikes parked up there as we were also there with a similar size group from Ilson. A good service from the cafe despite being taken over by cyclists 👍 We welcomed 2 new riders checking out the club, Remmie and Kathy who are originally from Florida. Hopefully they enjoyed the ride and will be back for more!

What a beautiful day for a bike ride. 12 avid explorers set off, but only 11 would complete the course. So the quicker group set off, just 3 explorers struggling to find their way out of belper. The inters first climb of the day brought explorer Matt's ride to an abrupt end with a rear wheel issue that caused him some similar issues on Tuesday. Friday gravel gang away day to Sheffield and ride back to Belper. Although it looked wet at the station we luckily had a dry ride back. Once out of Sheffield on to the TPT through Rother Valley and on to Chesterfield canal. Impressive new lock and canal basin at Stavely. Refreshment stop at Katie’s Cafe on the canal ( being slightly annoyed by woman who couldn’t control her dogs).
