Nine riders out tonight visiting South Wingfield, Tansley and Riber finishing at The Grapes. Only incident was when Martin had a flat in Whatstandwell. We thought we were going to get in trouble when a gentleman in his dressing gown came out to find out why a cycling club was meeting on his driveway but all ended well when he returned with a track pump to lend us!

Just two of us out on the Sunday ride, scratch route taking in Holbrook, Brackley, Breadsall,Little Eaton, Wirksworth Road and Hazelwood. Great ride and chat, one issue flat rear tyre just below Lubrizol. Offer of help from local resident nearby, v kind. Soon rectified and up to the crossroads, we're Helena took the road back to Duffield and me returning to cloudy Belper. .

2 groups out this morning, both slightly different routes but meeting up at the eating house in Calver. The fruit crumble and custard was a highlight for some of us and worth going back just for that 👌 The inters group played dodge the A6 between Rowsley and Cromford, with one rider using all their quota of F bombs for the month, I couldn't imagine why 👀

Fantastic ride out to Langar on a 4up TTT. Once through Nottingham and the traffic the roads were quiet with some fast sections. Great bacon or bacon and egg cobs at Langar followed up by an ice cream at Newstead Abbey. Great company and weather 🌞.

Eight ish riders or tonight on the Windley loop. Lovely sunshine all evening which dropped below the horizon as we arrived at the Holly Bush. One mechanical when Nick had cleat trouble. See you all next week.

3 jersey coordinated BBC riders took on the Paris in the Spring Audax (North Sheffield). A challenging but beautiful route, gorgeous weather, excellently organised Audax event (as always). Thanks to Shaun and Brian for making it another classic day.
