Well folks, the Belper BC Charity Quiz took place last Saturday and was a sellout with No28 Community Hall packed to capacity. There was a good selection of raffle prizes to win and lots of tickets were sold. I’m delighted to say that the grand total raised for the club’s chosen charity, Blue Box Belper is £510 which is amazing. An early start for Caroline, Jane and Margaret. We used the original Belles route and made up our own refreshment stops. Coffee at Millie’s which was also a Campsite. Decent fish finger sandwich and chips at The Crown Pub, Old Dalby. Road and gravel tonight Slightly warm tonight with 8 of us out on the Tuesday social with 3 taking the longer route and 5 wimping out and taking the shorter option. Another group set off earlier in search in gravel and shade. At the time of writing (8.37) only 3 of us had made it back to the Grapes for dehydration.
