I've been informed that Cauldwell's Mill cafe has closed and so an alternative is required.
I believe there is a cafe in Peak shopping village but I've never used it myself. Unless anyone else has a better suggestion locally to Rowsley?
Inters 9.00am departure - BBC407
Social 9.30am departure - BBC312
Both have an identical route to Rowsley with the social returning via the direct and flat A6 and the Inters via Elton & Longcliffe.
As usual go and register for the ride so that other riders can see who's going.
There is another cafe also down in Beeley called the Old Smithy which is quite nice. The Chatsworth owned one tends to get incredibly busy at weekends.
Rowsley Cafe. is Marsellas - following taken from website. Peak is owned by Chatsworth Estate. Restaurant there also chatsworth kitchen.
Cafe:
Enjoy a varied menu, including full English breakfasts, mid-morning coffee and cake. Homemade hearty lunches from the hotplate
include classics such as pie and chips, lasagne, and roast dinners on Sundays. Paninis, sandwiches and other light bites
are available throughout the day.
I've put my name down for the intermediate ride Sunday.👍
The cafe at Peak Village is ok. A long time since I’ve been there 👍
