A small but perfectly formed group of 5 of us headed to Oakham for a 9am meet and then went forth in the glorious sunshine across Rutland.
The route was lovely with lots of quiet roads and not too many hills. The cafe stop was at Oundle at the Greedy Piglet and the return route took in the fabulous Welland Viaduct.
At the return to Oakham we were rewarded with an ice cream and a pint at spoons.
