A very eventful day indeed. We set off from the Triangle at 8.30 - Matt and Joel escorted us out and helped set us on our way and then returned back. A few of the lads left the main group and returned doing an alternative route after a mechanical and flat tyre. After scaling Mam Nick we pressed onto Stocks Cafe at Chapel en le Frith and tucked into a hearty meal. After thinking we had broken the back of the ride we ventured up toward the Cat and Fiddle. It is fair to say that the wind was not our friend and we were absolutely battered by the elements. We all regrouped at the Cat and Fiddle Inn and then stood up on our pedals to get down the hill on the other side. After a quick garage stop we proceeded to the comfort of the A6. Jack and Carl maintained a great pace and helped keep the group together. Well done everyone for the climbing effort and making it a fab day. 👏 👍🚴
