The nights are drawing out and the temperature is slowly rising (honest), soon the clocks will go forward and all those lovely bikes that have been locked away all winter will be let loose on the spring roads.
So without further ado here's details of the all new Belper Bicycle Club Summer program which is starting when the clocks change.
Saturday Advanced
The same Saturday routes the only thing that's changed is the name to reflect that these really can be quite tough and the pace can be high.
Saturday Inters
An all new Saturday ride to fill the gap between Saturday Advanced and the Sunday Social. 35-45 Miles or so and with a separate event to book onto. Some new routes combined with the longer Sunday routes which have moved here.
Sunday Social
These rides are now restricted to less than 35 miles and are suitable for all riders. The first Sunday of each month will be a beginners ride of around 25 miles.
Saturday Inters on a Sunday
To coincide with the beginners ride on the first Sunday of the month the Saturday Inters ride will be repeated on a Sunday. If this proves popular it may be extended.
Summer Tuesdays
All the great Tuesday routes you love but now with a slightly shorter easier version to ensure the last group gets back to the pub on time. The new short routes are still probably slightly harder than the new Sunday routes.
Ladies Rides
The Ladies Rides will move to Tuesday and be incorporated within the Tuesday Social. It will still operate as a separate Ladies only group and will use the shorter Tuesday routes.
Order of Difficulty - Highest to Lowest

Register / RSVP for Events
It's important to book onto any ride either on the club app or the website. This enables us to plan for numbers but more importantly when other members can see who's going this will encourage more riders out.
Feedback & Route Submissions
I’d love to hear any of your feedback about rides and routes throughout the summer.
Finally if you have a great route with an awesome café stop you’d like to share then send it to me and I’ll see if we can use it.
Thanks
Steve
