FRIDAY GRAVEL GANG

Friday gravel gang away day to Sheffield and ride back to Belper. Although it looked wet at the station we luckily had a dry ride back. Once out of Sheffield on to the TPT through Rother Valley and on to Chesterfield canal. Impressive new lock and canal basin at Stavely. Refreshment stop at Katie’s Cafe on the canal ( being slightly annoyed by woman who couldn’t control her dogs). Through Chesterfield on to 5 Pits Trail to Alfreton where Andy left us and on to Belper via bridleways to final stop at The Grapes for a well deserved drink. Fantastic day out with great company. Nice to meet Andy H and good to see Dan H back for the weekend.
