Man vs Hawthorn Hedge Cuttings - Type 3 Fun to reflect on tomorrow. Well done all for your perseverance (stubborn progress 😅). 70km felt like 100km++…the canal towpath from Hell! Long stretch of narrow slippy muddy towpath with late mega Hawthorn hedge cuttings. Too many punctures and slow punctures to count…at least for 2 of us 😬. Getting colder, so elected to go solo from Willington Marina café stop…20km into a headwind, but at least on tarmac as far as the Shiny Brewery where I ran out of patches and tubes 😂
