Hi Lisa, can’t make tonight, but I thought the “Taster” was also open to non-Club members wanting to sample a Social Club ride? If it’s only BBC members, then no problem?

Are you sure that Cumberhills is a good social introduction, when we are hoping to encourage more riders to join in?

Hi Andre Cumberhills is used on the Christmas route and is so is certainly doable for our social riders. The route was changed as it was originally climbing straight from The Triangle up through Turnditch to Mercaston. I believe this new route, although a few minutes longer, reaches Mercaston at a more suitable gradient and also off the main road. Happy to discuss further with the ride reps at the meeting tonight if you wish?

Can we have clarification on the route? The Event lists the ride with GPS route BBCsun008 Denstone, but the link on the page goes to https://www.strava.com/routes/2935650292964806104 as well as the above.

Can the event page be amended with the correct info, this will save confusion with members having different routes on their devices...

Gareth, sorry, I changed the route link but didn’t spot the route number was still there. I have now removed it 🙂
