GRAVELTON by BELPER BC

Fantastic day out on Gravelton’s Sherwood Shakedown gravel ride. Total of 9 riders with 2 on the short loop and 7 on the longer route. Great mix of forest trails, sandy sections, loose gravel with short road segments to piece it all together. Welcome stop at Creswell Crags visitor centre with huge cobs to keep us sustained for the remainder of the ride. Faster on return from Creswell with easier gravel sections and seemed to be mostly downhill. Missed the rain with only a couple of very short showers but windy all way round.

Next event is The Arrow Valley Allroader on 9th August from Redditch if anyone is interested.
