Club Members - Please choose our charity for 2024

Updated: May 22, 2024

Each year Belper BC supports a local charity where fundraising can be targeted and for this year we have narrowed down to three options and now ask our members to choose one from this list.

It will literally take you a few seconds to complete and the charity with the most votes will be the one our club affiliates for this year. The collection for responses will close in a weeks time, so please partake as soon as you can. To help you choose, expand each section to find out more before voting in the poll below:

Note: Voting is restricted to members only so please ensure you are logged into this site.

Hope for Belper - Food & Community Hub

The Hub offers a food bank service, a free opportunity to eat together or simply sit and have a tea or coffee and a natter with neighbours.

Food bags are available for pick-up from the Food & Community Hub for people who have been referred by a local agency.

Blue Box Belper - New Community Centre

The aims of the original group were to build the capacity for activities for children and young people on the Parks Estate, hosted from the original Blue Box building. However, a fire in August 2014 resulted in the demolition of the original ‘Blue Box’ in 2015.

This charity has now developed plans for a new Community Centre on the Parks estate Belper. It will be a multi-functional new community facility that serves the needs of the whole community. They have now received planning permission for the new building and are currently raising funds to make it a reality.
