About the Event

The Route

https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54455908

Starting out near Leek in Staffordshire, the route climbs to the Western edges of the Peak District past The Roaches and onto the moors. After riding in and out of some valleys, one last climb takes you to the edge of Macclesfield Forest to start a descent through it and out on to the Cheshire Plains. The middle section of the route is "flat", but make sure you save your legs for what is to come. Coming up next is Mow Cop, also known as the killer mile where the gradient will reach 25%. After that's been conquered, the climb after onto Biddulph Moor will seem easy. With those climbs done the route undulates on the way back to the start.

All are welcome on this ride, we still split into groups depending on ability of those taking part and as always, no one left behind.
